Never use a percussive accessory without collar on FC-series chipping hammers and FRH-series light
hammers. The collar is the retainer and prevents the percussive accessory from ejection.
CHECK OF PERCUSSIVE ACCESSORY BEFORE USE
Always use only a proper percussive accessory.
Do not use a percussive accessory worn at the cutting edge or at the shank. A worn percussive accessory
would cause tool breakage, reduce efficiency and can increase vibration. Steel which breaks can cause injury.
Handle and store the percussive accessory with care in accordance with its manufacturer's instructions.
FATIGUE OF PERCUSSIVE ACCESSORY
Remember that the percussive accessory may break after a long time of use due to fatigue caused by heavy
strains. Give a regular check to the percussive accessory.
MOUNTING PERCUSSIVE ACCESSORY TO TOOL
* FCH-20 CHIPPER
1. Remove Locking Clutch (708).
2. Unscrew Chisel Holder (714).
3. Insert the chisel into Holder Spring (715) and
Chisel Holder.
4. Screw Chisel Holder on Cylinder (701).
5. Be sure to mount Locking Clutch to lock Chisel
Holder to Cylinder.

* FCH-20F, -25 and -25B CHIPPERS
1. Insert the chisel into Chisel Holder (714).
2. Pull Chisel Holder in the direction of the arrow to
insert or remove the chisel.
* FC-1Z, -2Z, -3Z and -4Z CHIPPING HAMMERS
1. Insert the chisel into Chisel Holder (714).
2. Mount Chisel Holder on Cylinder (701).
3. Set the inside groove of Chisel Holder to the
groove on Cylinder.
4. Insert Retainer Spring (761) into the groove of
Chisel Holder.
* FNS-2 and -2P NEEDLE SCALERS
1. Widen the stopper (492) knobs and remove
the stopper from the cylinder.
2. Dismount Front Tube (756) from Cylinder (701) in
the order 3-2-1.
3. Insert needles into the holes of Needle Holder
(758).
4. Mount Front Tube on Cylinder in the order 1-2-3.
5. Push in the stopper to attach it to the cylinder.
