ONTROL
From this page, the device can perform a series of remote operations. In the forcings section, see Figure
2.22, the device can be ordered to jump to certain states, even if the conditions are not as specified for
normal operation. In the supervision section, see Figure 2.22, the physical activation of the LEDs and relays
can be forced. The operation of each of them is detailed below.
Forcings
Reset: Resets the device control. It has, as a condition, that the device must have AC mains input, due to
the fact that if a reset is performed with only battery power, the device would shut down. The reset is timed
5 seconds before it is performed, so that the communications control can detect it.
Battery Test: Starts a battery test in order to measure the discharge capacity. This test can be started in
the floating, battery charged or quick charge state. In order for the test to be reliable, the device must be
in the battery charged state, and this state must be reached without being forced. If another test has
previously been performed with a failed result, then forcing the test also initialises the battery test alarm.
Quick Charge: Switching to the quick charge state can be forced whenever the battery is in one of the
following states: floating, battery charged or battery test. Prior to forcing, if the state is battery test, this
test will be considered good.
Floating: Switching to the floating state can be forced whenever the battery is in one of the following states:
quick charge, battery charged or battery test. Prior to forcing, if the state is battery test, this test will be
considered good.
Battery Charged: Switching to the battery charged state can be forced whenever the battery is in one of
the following states: quick charge, floating or battery test. Prior to forcing, if the state is battery test, this
test will be considered good.
Reconnection/Battery absence test: A battery absence test can be forced whenever the battery is in one
of the following states: quick charge, floating, battery charged or no battery. When this is forced, you also
initialize all the alarms related to the battery, and therefore you can connect another one. If the test detects
