5. MAINTENANCE
Danger!
Priority for all use: Switching off and switching off.
5.1 Periodic Maintenance
It is required for periodic maintenance to make the pump work in perfect condition every time it is used.
This also applies when the pump works under harsh conditions and for short periods of time. For exam-
ple, when it is used for draining.
One year of service:
1. Check pump parts and cables for damage.
2. Flush the pump with clean water. Remove stubborn dirt, such as algae, with a brush.
3. To rinse the inside of the pump, place the pump in a container filled with clean water and press ON.
5.2 Store the pump.
Caution: Frost damage to the pump and its accessories, as both always contain water.
When there is danger of frost, move the pump and accessories to a dry, frost-proof location.
6. PROBLEM SOLVING
Danger!
First of all: Unplug and disconnect the pump.
6.1 Troubleshooting.
•
(1) Pump does not start:
•
No mains voltage. Check cables, plug, socket, outlet and fuse.
•
Mains voltage is too low. Use only cables with suitable cross-section (see technical specifications
table).
•
Motor overheated. Check if it pumps water too hot or is blocked by foreign objects. Then cool down
the pump and reconnect it. Level switch does not switch on the pump. Ensure sufficient water
supply. Make sure that the level switch can move without restriction.
