Converting to Piping Welding (prefabricated piping)
Allow welding nozzle (9) to cool down (see operating instructions VARIANT T1, page 31, section 1.8).
The device may only be converted while the welding nozzle (9) is cold.
Turn off main switch (3).

Disconnect power supply cord (1) from power supply.

• Disassembly
– Pull round belt (23).
– Remove pressure roller (11) by loosening the screw (35)
(Fig. A).
– Remove round belt flange (36) by loosening the screw (37)
(Fig. A).
– Remove diverting roller (12) by loosening the screw (41)
(Fig. B and C).
– Remove hold-down-device (13) by loosening the star knob
screw (39) (Fig. D).

• Assembly
– Mount piping guide (46) on the pressure roller (11)
and fasten with screw (48).
– Insert pressure roller (11) and push as far as it will go.
– Fasten pressure roller (11) with screw (35).
– Fasten hold-down device for hem / piping (42) with
the screw of the diverting roller (41) (Fig. E).

Carry out a test weld according to the welding instruction of the material manufacturer and
national standards or guidelines. Check test weld.
