6. REPLACING BATTERIES
When the icon of Battery is displayed on a thermostat in a zone, this indicates that the
thermostat batteries are low.
Low battery
6.1. Tacto Batteries
To replace the batteries, slot the coin into the notch in the underside of the thermostat, and
turn it through 45º to lift the thermostat off the base.
With the touch screen separated from the supporting base, replace the batteries housed
inside, in accordance with the polarity indicated (2 x 1'5V AAA batteries).
Fit the parts back together in their original positions.
6.2. Power Cuts
If there is a power cut, the whole network will momentarily lose its synchronisation (the
thermostats will display "nrEd" (no network) if the electricity supply is cut off for less than 45
minutes, or "PULS" (press) if the power cut lasts for more than 45 minutes). If, once the
power is back, the thermostats display "nrEd" (no network), synchronisation will be automatic.
If the thermostats display the word "PULS" (press), each zone must be recovered by pressing
that word on each thermostat. It is advisable to recover the zones one by one, starting with
the closest to the Flexa System Control Unit, and ending with the one furthest away.
Otherwise, the network may take longer to recover its synchronisation.
