When a Flexa thermostat is being used, after the thermostat's temperature setting is changed
or the ON/OFF key is pressed, the order will be sent from the thermostat to the control unit.
This is shown on the thermostat by displaying the
5.1.1. ECO Sleep Function
The ECO Sleep option is selected and deselected by pressing the SLEEP key,
pressing the AIRZONE key and then SLEEP.
In this operating mode, the set temperature is changed by 0.5ºC (1ºF) every 30 minutes, with
a maximum change of 2ºC (4ºF). The change will increase the set temperature if the system
is in COOLING mode, or reduce it if the system is in HEATING mode.

The automatic operating mode is indicated by the

Pressing the AIRZONE key and then the icon to be selected will also cause it to change
mode between MANUAL and AUTOMATIC, and the selected icon will start to flash.
The Flexa thermostat allows timed programmes to be scheduled (start time, end time, and set
temperature for that time interval), and it is possible to have up to 3 independent programmes
for each day of the week, group of days (working days and weekend) and full week.
Since it is possible to establish different programmes for individual days or by groups of days,
it is possible that the programmes overlap. When the programmes overlap, there is a system
of priorities to determine which programme should be run.
The priority levels are as follows:
Since the Master thermostat controls the system's operating mode (STOP, COOLING,
HEATING, etc), it allows the operating modes to be programmed, and so allows the following
programmes:
• PROGRAMME P1:
Definition of a time interval (Start and End Times) and the desired temperature for that
time interval. The programme will apply in the zone where the thermostat is located.
• PROGRAMME P2:
Definition of a time interval (Start and End Times) and the operating mode of the AC Unit.
• PROGRAMME P1-2:
In mode P1-2, both programmes are activated simultaneously, but each one must be
programmed separately.
