11.1
Fitting/removing the special perforated
base-plate
Fitting
Position the special perforated base-plate (14) so
that the velcro surface faces down and the pointed
tip faces forward. Ensure that the two rods on the
sander/scraper engage properly in the appropriate
holes in the special perforated base-plate (14).
Screw in and tighten the hexagon socket-head
screw (12), without the spring (11) fitted, using the
hexagon socket-head key (6).
Removing
To remove the special perforated base-plate (14),
reverse the steps for the fitting procedure
indicated above.
11.2
Fitting/removing the scraper blade
Be aware of the risk of injury
represented by sharp tool edges!
Fitting
Position the scraper blade (15) so that the blade is
facing down at the front and the scraper blade
locates between the two rods on the
sander/scraper.
Screw in and tighten the hexagon socket-head
screw (12), without the spring (11) fitted, using the
hexagon socket-head key (6).
Removing
To remove the scraper blade (15), reverse the
steps for the fitting procedure indicated above.

12 Repairs
Any Metabo power tool in need of repair can be
sent to one of the addresses listed in the spare
parts list.
Please attach a description of the fault to the
power tool.

13 Environmental Protection

Metabo packaging is 100% suitable for recycling.
Power tools and accessories at the end of their
service life still contain large amounts of valuable
raw materials and plastics which can likewise be
fed back into a recycling process.
As the dust generated during operation may
contain harmful materials, it should not be
disposed of along with normal household waste,
but delivered to a collection point for special
waste.
These Operating Instructions are printed on paper
produced in a chlorine-free bleaching process.
