7.3 Alignment check
The cartridge holder is provided with a bar containing 24 reference holes (see photograph).
This reference bar is used to check the correct alignment of the strips that have been inserted
in the clamp.
Please place the (empty) cartridge holder correctly into its emplacement in the Neptune
instrument (reference bar at the back of the machine and the holder inserted firmly into its
two notches).

will bring you back to the previous step and to the strip loading screen (see 7.2).
A gentle and continuous pressure on the down arrow
of the touchscreen lowers the strips
slowly into the reference holes.
If the strips enter the reference/alignment holes without touching the outlines, the alignment

is correct. Please press
; the strips will be lowered completely into the reference holes (see
7.4)
If however, the strips do touch the outlines, the clamp has to be taken out and the loading of
the stripholders has to be rechecked. When it is done, re-insert the clamp and re-check with
the Jog function.
However if the strips continue to touch the outlines despite the fact that they are correctly
loaded and aligned, please presss on the right hand side icon Position of the strips. The
following screen will appear:
