Always load the strips from position 1 onwards, and to maximum position 24. Do not leave
empty spaces between strips.
All the strips processed in one same test must have the same protocol; please check the
protocol number on the IFU of your kit.
The strips are originally conditioned by 8 individually breakable units. Sometimes, upon
separating of them into individual strips, bits of plastic may remain fixed (see picture circled in
red). These stray bits of plastic may cause an incorrect alignment between strips on the clamp
and thus cause problems either during the test procedure on the Neptune Instrument or during
the reading with the Neptune Quantification Software.
Therefore, prior to loading of the strips on the clamp, any remaining plastic bits should be
carefully removed with scissors.
