Please select the right mouthpiece (1) and change according to the rivet size that is
used. The device is equipped with the following mouthpieces: 3,0/3,2mm, 4,0mm and
4,8/5,0mm (attached to the device) in the unit box. Please proceed according to the
below stated steps to change the mouthpiece (1):
a) Take the air supply hose of the adapter (47)
b) Take the key (in the accessory package) to remove the mouthpiece from the device (1)
c) Select the right mouthpiece from the accessory package and screw up tight onto the
device by using a wrench.

Place the mandrel release protection (included in the accessory package) to
the back of
the device.
5. OPERATION OF THE DEVICE FOR PLACEMENT OF BLIND RIVETS

After the preparations place the rivet into the nose piece with the mandrel and hold the
device to place the rivet into the pre-drilled hole of the workpieces, where those are
supposed to be fi xed.

Pull the trigger (43) of the device in order to place the rivet into its position on the
workpiece.

After inserting the rivet, tilt the device forward to release the rest of the mandrel in the
device or tilt the device backwards and the rest of the mandrel will be released by the
backside of the device into the mandrel release protection. Make sure to always use the
device with the mandrel release protection, otherwise the residual mandrel could shoot
out of the device's backside and hurt people.

6. MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE

Apply a few drops of hydraulic oil onto the air adapter (47) of the device, usually after
several weeks of work and for a better performance of the equipment, in order to
reduce the friction of the different parts of the device, as oil is blown into the device
when operating.
