6. MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE

Apply a few drops of hydraulic oil onto the air adapter (47) of the device, usually after sev-
eral weeks of work and for a better performance of the equipment, in order to reduce the
friction of the different parts of the device, as oil is blown into the device when operating.
After a certain working time the idle stroke of the device could be reduced which then indi-
cates that the hydraulic oil of the pneumatic device has to be refilled or exchanged:
■ Remove the screw (9) with a hex wrench:

Close the air supply and cover the whole from which the screw had been removed (9)
with some cloth, then press the trigger (43) and the oil is leaking out of the device:
■
Screw the oil injection adapter (one set of oil injection adapter in the accessory package)
into the hole from which the screw (9) had been removed
