Loading the magazine (fig. IV)
Insert the magazine strip as shown in the figure.
■
Draw the follower [6] to the stop and back
■
again until it is in contact with the magazine
strips.
To remove the magazine strip pull back the
■
follower. Actuate the release lever [5] and
draw back the follower [6]. Actuate the locking
mechanism and remove the magazine strip.
Removing blockages
Remove the battery and the gas cartridge.
■
Remove the magazine strip.
■
Open the closure [3] and pivot the mounting
■
plate upwards
Eliminate the blockage.
■
Re-attach the mounting plate
■
Lock the magazine lock.

Substrate and separations
Caution
Fasteners may not be driven in unsuitable materials
or components.
Recommended substrate
Check the substrate thickness. The minimum penetra-
tion depth of the fastener and the minimum thickness
of the substrate must exist to ensure safe holding of
the fastening.
Substrate
Concrete (DIN 1045,
B10 - B55)
Calcium silicate
Steel
Solid brick
Minimum distance of the substrate
from centres and edges (see also the
provisions of the German BGV D9
2002)
At the penetration point the distance to free edges
must be sufficiently great that the sideways exiting of
the fastener is prevented.
The fasteners must be driven in sufficiently far apart
to prevent their coming out due to breaking or
cracking of the substrate material.

Working instructions (fig. V)
Inserting fasteners
Hold the device firmly and stand in a stable
■
position.
Position the device rectangular to the material
■
surface. The sleeve [4] and the magazine foot
[10] must rest securely on the surface.
Press the device with the sleeve against the
■
material surface.
3 This releases the safety of the device. The fan
motor is switched on and draws in air.
Caution
Never hold your hand directly in front of the intake
opening since this may cause malfunctions!
Actuate the trigger [8].
■
3 The gas mix is ignited electrically and the faste-
ner is driven into the basis.
Note
Ignition is only initiated if the sleeve
[14] is completely pushed in and
if at least three fasteners are in the
magazine [9].
Release the trigger [8] and remove the device.
■
3 The exhaust gas is discharged via the openings
[7]. Simultaneously fresh air is blown in the
combustion chamber.
Note
If no further fastener is driven in, the
fan continues blowing for approx.
10 seconds and is then switched off.
Warning
The device is designed for continuous
operation. In this process, the sleeve
can get very hot.
If you detect visible defects, immediately stop wor-
king with the device and have it repaired by Würth.
