- Adjust TIG cycle welding parameters.
1
Welding current or, in pulsed mode, peak current
2
Up slope time in seconds from IStart to welding current (Ip)
3
IStart - Initial welding current in amps
4
Pre-gas time in seconds - interval between gas flow and arc ignition. Allows starting welding within inert gas
atmosphere.
5
Base current indicator (on pulsed mode).
6
Down slope time from welding current to final current for crater filler
7
IFinal - Final current for crater filler.
8
Post-gas time - interval after arc extinction to maintain gas protection at the end of welding. Prevents welding
pool and tungsten electrode oxidation.
9
Width of the peak current from 10% to 90%
10
Pulse frequency – adjust the pulse frequency in Hertz
11
DYNAMICS - arc length compensation. Useful for unexperienced welders.*
* DYNAMICS – Turn ON or OFF by turning left (OFF) or right (ON) the parameters adjustment turning button at the end
of the TIG cycle parameters. Not available in PULSE mode.
- Start welding.
7.3 - SPOT WELDING MODE
-
Follow the previous steps regarding TIG welding and when select key button 2T/4T/SPOT, select SPOT.
-
Adjust the tack welding time (tSPOT) from 0,1 to 20 seconds.
-
Start spot welding by pressing torch trigger and continuing pressing until the end of the adjusted TIG welding
cycle.
