► If using the drive system, drive the lawn mower forward in
a controlled manner, keeping two hands on the unit at all
times.
► If not using the drive system, push the lawn mover forward
slowly, keeping two hands on the unit at all times.
Observe all applicable laws, regulations, standards and
ordinances.
Mulching
In the mulching mode, the grass clippings are recirculated in
the air-stream, re-cut several times into small particles and
then blown back onto the lawn. The fine particles remain on
the lawn surface where they decompose quickly and serve
as a natural fertilizer. Frequent mulching contributes to a
beautiful, dense lawn. One third of the grass height should
be cut in this process.
For effective mulching, STIHL recommends the following
– Reducing the mowing speed,
0458-818-8621-A
– Varying mowing direction and overlap the cuts,
– Mowing very high grass in gradual stages.
