This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people
who have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or inadequate
experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have
been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have under-
stood the resulting dangers.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
Risk of overheating!
If the appliance remains switched on for a prolonged period, the setting
for continuous operation should be selected with the thermostat.

Risk of injury!

The heating pad must not be used by persons who are insensitive
to heat or by other persons in need of protection who cannot respond
to overheating.

Further safety instructions

Examine the appliance frequently for signs of
wear or damage. If there are such signs, if the
appliance has been misused or does not work,
return it to the supplier before switching it on
again.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord
and/or appliance are damaged.
After each use or if a fault occurs, immediately
pull out the mains plug.
Do not wind the power cord around the
thermostat.

Do not cover the thermostat!
To ensure that the thermostat functions
correctly, do not place it on or under the
heating pad or cover it with other objects.
The appliance emits very weak electrical and
magnetic fields which may cause a pacemaker
to malfunction. Before you use the appliance,
we therefore recommend that you consult your
doctor or the manufacturer of the pacemaker.
The thermostat with supply line to the appli-
ance must be arranged in such a way that
there is no risk of strangulation, tripping, etc.
Continuous use at a high heat setting may
cause skin burns.
Ensure that the user does not fall asleep
while using the heating pad!
Use heating pads in dry rooms only
(not in the bathroom, etc.).
Never leave the heating pad unattended while
it is switched on; switch it off before leaving
the room.
Do not wrinkle the heating pad!
Do not crease the appliance by placing items
on top of it during storage.
Never use a damp or wet heating pad, wait
until it has dried completely.
Do not use on animals.
Risk of suffocation!
Do not let children play with packaging
material.
