6.5. Setting the motor power level

Soiling (ie road dirt/mud etc) or corrosion on the steadies can lead to premature overload
switch off!

Avoid using settings >95%!
•
The potentiometer setting must be adjusted to the overall caravan weight. Otherwise damage
to or twisting of the chassis may occur!
A red button with display is located on the rear of the E.C.S. control unit

1000 – 1300 kg
1300 – 1600 kg
1600 – 2000 kg
2000 – 2300 kg
2300 – 2500 kg
Note!
The E.C.S. control device is preset to a gross vehicle weight
of 1,200 kg for caravans/trailers.
To set the electric comfort levelling device to a gross vehicle
weight of 1,500 kg to 2,500 kg, it is necessary to turn the
potentiometer on the reverse of the control device to the
right, in order to obtain more power consumption.

55 – 65%
65 – 75%
75 – 85%
85 – 95%
