Turn on the subwoofer.

Press the STANDBY/ON switch on the main unit.

Select a source by pressing the FUNCTION button.

Play the source and adjust the volume using the
VOLUME buttons.
Muting
To mute the sound temporarily, press the MUTING button.
Press the MUTING button again to restore the sound.
< While muting is engaged, "MUTE" blinks.
< If you change the volume during the muting, the muting will
be canceled.

Basic Operation

EEPS (Electronic Equalizer Preset System)
When the EEPS button is pressed once, the current mode is

displayed. Press the EEPS button repeatedly to select any
other mode.

CLASSIC: A balanced sound; suitable for classical music.
ROCK: Provides a heavy powerful sound; suitable for rock music.
POP: Emphasizes vocal tones; suitable for popular music.
JAZZ: suitable for jazz music.
FLAT: Equalizer is off.

Tone Control

To adjust the level of low frequency sound range, press the
BASS button (+ or –).
To adjust the level of high frequency sound range, press the
TREBLE button (+ or –).

Sleep Timer

Repeatedly pressing the SLEEP button permits setting an
interval (from 90 down to 10 minutes) after which you want
the unit to automatically turn off and shift into Standby
mode.
Each press of the SLEEP button changes the time indication by
10 minutes.
