information and touch OK. The Feature or Dimension adds to a list.
• The icons are gray scale indicating that the Feature or Dimension
is not complete.
Tools are a collection of Features and Dimensions.
1. The Tools Library is a collection pre-determined commands for specific
measurements and/or dimensions.
2. A Custom Tool is a file of user selected Features and Dimensions.
Most of the time you will choose to create a Custom Tool and add the
required Features, Dimensions and Reports to complete the measurement
tasks.
• If you add a specific tool, all of the individual Features and
Dimensions are added to the Tool file.

• Touch a Tool. The necessary Features and Dimensions load, and
the Gage mode automatically switches to Measure.
