If you calibrate the probe correctly, the Calibration Status changes to
Passed. If the probe calibration fails, then touch the Retry button and
repeat the calibration until the probe passes.
You are now ready to Measure with the FARO Gage.
1. About button
• Displays the current version of the software.
2. MM/IN switch
• Use the MM/IN switch to set the measuring units for your part.
3. Alignment Tool (Also see the Alignment section)
• This Tool creates an Alignment, or Coordinate System, from
previously measured features.
4. Quick Start Guide
• Launches an electronic version of this file.
5. Shutdown
• Exit the FARO Gage software and shutdown the computer.
