INTENDED USE
This scale is intended for use in laboratories, schools,
businesses and light industry. It must only be used
for measuring the parameters described in these
instructions. Any other type of use and operation
beyond the limits of technical specifications, without
INSTALLING COMPONENTS
Refer to the illustrations and instructions below to
identify and assemble scale with its components. All
components must be assembled before using the scale.
RELEASING TRANSPORTATION LOCK
Release the red transportation lock by turning the red
pointer 90 degrees counterclockwise to unlock.

Subplatform
INSTALLING THE WEIGHING PAN
For scales with a rectangular pan, place pan into
subplatform and rotate counter clockwise until it locks.
For scales with round a pan, place pan straight down
on subplatform. (See Figure 2)

SELECTING LOCATION
For best performance, scale should be used in a clean,
stable environment. Do not use in environments with
excessive drafts, with rapid temperature changes, near
magnetic fields or near equipment that generates
magnetic fields or vibrations.
