Connect the appropriate end of the bleeder hose to the
fluid inlet cover located on top of the brake bleeder
unit.
Slip the rubber fitting located on the other end of the
brake bleeder hose over the nipple of the bleed screw.
Problem
1. After switching the air valve to the "open" position
and resetting the float with the blue pushbutton, the
vacuum brake bleeder does not work.
2. When the fluid inside the bleeder tank reaches the
"full" position, the vacuum brake bleeder will not
automatically shut off.
3. When the vacuum brake bleeder is activated, fluid
is not drawn off.
Maintenance and Cleaning
If the device should fail, despite the care taken in man-
ufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be
carried out by a Würth masterSERVICE.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the article number given on the type
plate of the battery charger.
Open the air valve. Press and immediately release the
blue pushbutton to reset the float. Allow a few seconds
for the vacuum to build. Open the bleed screw. (Do not
tear off the bleed screw!)
Keep the bleed screw open until new fluid is visibly
flowing through the bleeder hose.
Close the bleed screw firmly before removing the
bleed screw adapter or shutting off the brake bleeder.
Troubleshooting
Corrective Action
Remove the brake bleeder lid. Activate the flow by
pushing it up into the housing. Press and immediately
release the blue pushbutton to reset the float. If a
"click" is hear, proceed with the operation.
If the problem still persists, check the air source.
Shut the air valve and stop the process.
Dispose of fluid according to country-specific regula-
tions.
Apply the troubleshooting procedure from problem
1.
Check the compressed-air source.
Check if the hose is properly connected, not dam-
aged or blocked/obstructed through debris. Replace
a damaged hose. If the hose is clogged, remove the
blockage.
Check if the refill bottle is empty and refill as required.
Check if the brake bleeder tank is full. Dispose of fluid
according to country-specific regulations.
