3. Hold the sleeve and rotate the collar to tightly close the jaws
on the accessory. The collar will move forward with one or
more audible clicks. Continue rotating the collar to maximum
tightness.
4. Visually inspect the accessory to make sure it is centered in
the jaws. If the accessory has three or six flats, make sure the
jaws are centered directly on three of the flats.
5. Tug the accessory to make sure it is secure.
6. Install the chuck in the handpiece.
To Remove an Accessory
1. Remove the chuck from the handpiece.
2. Hold the sleeve with one hand and rotate the collar with the
other hand to open the jaws.
3. Remove the accessory.
NOTE: If the chuck jaws cannot be opened by hand, rotate the
collar to the unlock position, and then use the key to open the
jaws.
