Ancillary parameters
The values set at the factory have been optimised by
an automatic system.
These factory settings can be used unchanged for
most welding operations.
Further possibilities for fine tuning are explained in
the following tables.

For optimum weld formation, the arc is drawn with
plus (+) pole current during AC TIG welding. This
plus pole current is pre-set in the machine and can
be increased or decreased by the percentage
shown.

After striking, a peak striking current is set to stabilise
the electric arc. This ignition peak current is pre-set in
the machine and can be increased or decreased by
the percentage shown.

The ancillary parameters are set separately:
▸
Briefly press the buttons Welding method [24]
and Operating mode [41] simultaneously. The
code of the ancillary parameter and its value
appear alternately on the 7-segment display [32].
▸
Press the button Main parameters [42] until the
desired parameter is displayed.
▸
Set the desired value with the rotary knob [35].
▸
Press the button Welding method [24] or Oper-
ating mode [41] briefly to quit this mode.
The changed values are saved.

Note
All the welding parameters can also be
changed during the welding process for
more effective setting.
