to get a premium quality espresso
• Always use good quality water.
• The coffee grind differs from one brand to the other
and explains the variety in the quality of the coffee. Do
not hesitate to make tests by changing the quantity
of coffee, the coffee grind you use in the DomePod
and how hard you tamp the coffee. Thus, you defi ne
your expresso yourself. A grind, which is too fi ne and
compact, has a very long brewing time and gives a
very strong expresso. On the other hand too coarse a
grind, which is not tamped, has a very short brewing
time, thus reducing the strength of the espresso.
We remind you that a good espresso is obtained with
approximately 7 grams of coffee, a brewing time of
around 25 seconds, a water temperature of between
90 and 95°C.
