• AA (Auto Attendant)- After calling the number, the caller is prompted to dial the extension
number.
• DDI (Direct Dial In) - After calling the number, the call goes directly to the extension num-
ber.
When you use DDI, the X6004 examines the incoming dialed ISDN number (for example,
555-123456). It then uses DDI masking to identify the number of digits used in the DDI
mapping table. Once the DDI numbers are identified, the mapping table specifies the
associated extension. For example, the DDI number 56 might map to extension 6012.
Calls on incoming ISDN numbers that are not included in the DDI mapping
table go to the AA.
