outbound rule. Highlight an authority
group in the Authority Group Pool
column and use the right arrow icon to
move it to the Matched Authority
Group column.
7 Check the configuration settings. Click
Finish to close wizard.
8 Outbound Groups (External Links)
The following sections describe how to configure external links that you use in the IPPBX
X6004 Setup Wizard. Depending on the peer aggregated interface type, external calls can
be made or received via the following external links:
• FXO Trunk - connections to the PSTN. See section 8.1.
• SIP Trunk - connections to your ITSP. See section 8.2.
• Trusted Peer - connections to peer SIP servers. For example, another X6004 at a branch
office. See section 8.3.
• PRI Trunk (ISDN) - connections to your ISDN T1/E1 network. See section 8.4.
• BRI Trunk (ISDN) - connections to your ISDN network. See section 8.4.
