Montaggio gruppo portatarga
Introdurre i n.4 gommini antivibranti (9) sul gruppo portatarga (1).
Inserire i n.4 distanziali con collare originali (G2) sulle n.4 viti (G1),
orientandoli come mostrato in figura.
Note
Per i motoveicoli modelli Monster 797 collegare la briglia cablaggio
posteriore (H) al ramo cablaggio principale, come indicato nel
riquadro (J).
Note
Per i motoveicoli modelli Monster 1200 introdurre il ramo cablaggio
posteriore (B) all'interno dell'asolatura (1B).
Posizionare il gruppo portatarga (1) al di sotto del telaietto
accompagnando il ramo cablaggio posteriore (B) e prestando
attenzione che non rimanga schiacciato tra il gruppo portatarga (1)
e telaietto.
Impuntare le n.4 viti (G2).
Serrare le n.4 viti (G1) alla coppia indicata.
Collegare la presa luce targa (B3) al connettore (15B).
Collegare la presa (B1) al connettore indicatore di direzione sinistro
(C1) e la presa (B2) al connettore indicatore di direzione destro
(D1), prestando attenzione alle diciture riportate nei cartellini
identificativi apposti sui cavi.
Inserire i n.2 distanziali con collare (11) sulle n.2 viti (10).
Montare la cover (8) sulla parte inferiore del gruppo portatarga (1),
introducendo la parte anteriore (8A) nella cavità (1B) e traslare la
cover (8) verso l'anteriore del motoveicolo fino a battuta.
Verificare che i cablaggi indicatori di direzione risultino posizionati
correttamente all'interno delle rispettive sedi.
Impuntare le n.2 viti (10) sulla cover (8) e sui fori posteriori del
gruppo portatarga (1).
Serrare le n.4 viti (10) alla coppia inficata.

Fitting the number plate holder unit
Fit no.4 vibration dampers (9) onto number plate holder unit (1).
Fit no.4 original spacers with collar (G2) onto no.4 screws (G1),
aiming them as shown in the figure.
Notes
For Monster 797 model motorcycles, connect the rear wiring
branch (H) to the main wiring branch, as shown in the box (J).
Notes
For Monster 1200 model motorcycles, fit the rear wiring branch (B)
inside slot (1B).
Position number plate holder unit (1) below the subframe
accompanying the rear wiring branch (B) and paying attention that
it is not squeezed between the number plate holder unit (1) and
the subframe.
Start no.4 screws (G2).
Tighten no.4 screws (G1) to the specified torque.
Connect the number plate light socket (B3) to the connector (15B).
Connect the socket (B1) to the LH turn indicator connector (C1)
and socket (B2) to the RH turn indicator connector (D1), paying
attention to the wordings in the identification tags affixed to the
cables.
Insert no.2 spacers with collar (11) on no.2 screws (10).
Fit cover (8) on the lower side of number plate holder unit (1),
inserting the front side (8A) in the recess (1B) and move the cover
(8) towards the front side of the motorcycle until fully home.
Check that the turn indicator wirings are placed correctly inside the
relevant seats.
Start no.2 screws (10) on the cover (8) and on the rear holes of
number plate holder unit (1).
Tighten no.4 screws (10) to the specified torque.
