4.3 Assembly of Inlet and Outlet Hoses (e.g. coffee machine)
Note: The inlet and outlet hoses are not included in the standard scope of delivery. The use of
BRITA hose sets (Chapter 12) or hoses according to DVGW W543 is recommended. The fl ush valve
supplied ensures that the hose to the consumer (e.g. coffee machine) is closed in the fl ush posi-
9
tion.
•
Fit hoses to the inlet and outlet of the pressure vessel lid
inlet and outlet are seated correctly.
Note: No additional use of fl at seals is necessary.
Caution: The max. tightening torque at the 1" and 3/4" connections must not exceed
!
15 Nm! When using hoses not made by BRITA make sure that only connections with fl at seals
are used. Conical seal shapes damage the fi lter head connections and invalidate any guarantee
claims. The fl ow direction indicated by the arrows on the connector head
During assembly, comply with the installation dimensions (Chapter 11), bending radii of the
hoses and dimensions of the accessories (e.g. hose sets). The system can be operated verti-
cally and horizontally. Use the wall mounting (Chapter 12) to install the system in a vertical posi-
tion only! If no original BRITA hose sets are used, the 1" – 3/4" reducer
to ensures correct sealing of the non-return valve.
