Important Safeguards
Usage conditions and restrictions
•
Attachments: Do not use attachments that are not recommended by the
product manufacturer or distributor.
•
Adjustments: Only use and adjust controls and perform procedures as
specified in this manual. Any other adjustments or procedures may expose you
to danger and void your warranty.
•
Usage restriction: This product is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
•
Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the product
•
Installation and use: Improper use or installation may result in the risk of
fire, electric shock and/or injury. We assume no liability for any eventual
damages caused by improper use or incorrect handling.
Safe usage
•
Location: Place the product on a straight, rigid, stable and heat-resistant
surface, away from sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat.
•
Prevent overheating: Place the product in a sufficiently aerated place, allowing
at least 8 inch clearance at the back and top of the product and 8 inch on both
sides.
•
Keep away from heat: Do not place the product near heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
•
Prevent damage: Do not place the product near other items that may damage
it, such as naked flame sources (lit candles) or objects containing water (a vase
or fish bowl).
•
Before using the Deep Fryer, make sure you know how it functions and how to
operate it.
•
Never use the appliance near curtains, walls, under cupboards or near other
flammable materials.
•
Never operate the Deep Fryer without oil or liquid fat as this will damage the
appliance. This Deep Fryer is not suitable for use with solid fats as these may
contain water.
•
The appliance housing can become very hot during use, take special care.
•
Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
•
Extreme caution must be used when moving the Deep Fryer if it contains hot oil
or other liquids.
