3 STOVE OPERATION
3.1 STARTING THE STOVE
Before every ignition, be sure that burning pot is
completely empty and properly positioned in its
seat.
To start the stove hold the
seconds.
The ame icon will start ashing during the ignition
stage until remaining on steady when the stove has
started.
Automatic stove ignition: the stove comes with an
automatic device that starts the pellet stove without
using other traditional re lighters.
Avoid lighting the ame manually if the stove's
automatic ignition system is not working correctly.
When the stove is started the rst time, unpleasant
odours or smoke may be generated, caused by
evaporation or drying of certain materials used.
This phenomenon will gradually disappear.
The room should be well ventilated when starting
the stove the rst few times.
3.2 MODIFYING THE PARAMETERS
The stove operating parameters can be modi ed
as described.
The values set will be retained until next modi ed,
even when the stove is switched off or unplugged
from the power supply.
3.3 SWITCHING OFF
To switch the stove off hold the
few seconds; the ame icon will switch off.
To start the stove again it's recommended to wait
for the stove to cool down completely.
The stove should only be switched off following the
procedure described above. Never switch the stove
off by unplugging it from the power supply.
3.4 OPERATION WITH ROOM
THERMOSTAT
When the stove is controlled by an external
thermostat (or timer thermostat), the installer must
have set con guration 1.
In this con guration the stove switches off when
reaching the external thermostat setting or
alternatively modulates output (that is, the stove
attempts to maintain the desired temperature
while minimising fuel consumption) when reaching
the set water temperature.
The stove switches on again automatically when
the temperature falls below the value set on the
external thermostat (circuit closed).

The stove will go off automatically even in the
case the water temperature keeps growing
notwithstanding the modulation mode. In this case
the stove will ignite only if the difference between
the selected and actual temperature is over 2 C.
Therefore, if you choose this con guration, we
suggest that you select a high water temperature
(e.g.. 7 C).
THE BOILER
The boiler can be switched on/off manually or in
programmed mode.
In this type of con guration, the boiler modulates
output according to the room temperature read
by the probe on the boiler (that is, the boiler
attempts to maintain the desired temperature
while minimising fuel consumption).

STORAGE TANK
For operation in combination with a storage tank,
the installer will have set con guration 3 or 4,
depending on whether the storage tank is with or
without a coil inside.
The boiler is controlled based on the temperature
read by the probe in the storage tank.
