DETAILED REQUIREMENTS FOR CORD ELECTRICAL LAWN
TRIMMERS
WARNING: When using the trimmer, make sure to observe the
relevant safety regulations. For your own safety and the safety
of bystanders, make sure to read this instruction before you
start working with the trimmer. Please keep this instruction for
future use.
Instruction
• Become familiar with the control system and with proper ways to
use the device.
• Before use, unwind the power supply cord and check if for damage
or wear.
• Do not use the lawn trimmer if the supply cord is damaged or
worn out.
• Before you connect the lawn trimmer to the power supply
network, always make sure that the voltage is equal to that
specified on the device's data plate.
• The lawn trimmer may be connected only to an electrical system
that is fitted with residual current devices which break the power
supply if the leakage current exceeds 30 mA in a time shorter than
30 ms.
• The lawn trimmer must be connected to the power supply source
with an appropriate power cord that is suitable for outdoor use.
• If the cord becomes damaged during work, immediately switch
off the power supply. DO NOT TOUCH THE CORD BEFORE YOU
SWITCH OFF THE POWER SUPPLY.
• WARNING. After the motor is switched off, the line is still rotating.
• Keep the extended power cord away from the cutting elements.
• Do not let children and persons who are not familiar with the user
instruction to use the trimmer.
• Do not use the trimmer when persons, especially children, and
pets are in the vicinity.
• This piece of equipment is not intended to be used by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities or by persons
who have no experience or are not familiar with the equipment,
unless they use it under the supervision or in accordance with the
user instruction provided by the persons who are responsible for
their safety.
• Never allow children to play with the device.
• REMEMBER. The operator or user is responsible for any accidents
or danger to other persons or the surroundings.
Preparation
• When trimming the grass, always wear solid shoes and long pants.
• Always use personal protective equipment, such as protective
glasses and ear protectors.
• Thoroughly check the area where you intend to work and remove
all items that may be thrown back by the rotating cutting line.
• Before using the equipment, check if the trimmer head is not
damaged.
• Keep the trimmer with both hands so that the axis of the head is
perpendicular to the ground.
• Fit the power extension cord in the handle so that it cannot be
accidentally disconnected.
