INSTALLATION OF THE GRASS BAG
• Lift the outlet cover (26) and slide the grass back guide (27) into
the guides in the front guard (23) (fig. L).
• Release the pressure applied on the outlet cover (26).
The grass bag is held in place by the force of the outlet cover spring.
In order to uninstall the grass bag to empty it, perform the actions
described above in the reverse order.
INSTALLATION OF THE THREE-EDGE KNIFE
Operate the tool with three blade knife attached only with both
guards installed.
• Installation of three blade knife is easier when the front guard is
removed (23).
• Remove spool cover (21) if installed and remove spool with
cutting line (22) (reverse its installation procedure).
• Insert special key (c) into fan blades under spool casing (19) to
lock the spindle.

CAUTION: Incorrect seating of the special key (c) may cause
breaking of the fan blade(s). Correct seating of the key is
illustrated at fig. X.
• While using the special key (c) to lock the spindle insert three
blade knife attachment (28) into spool casing seating (19) (fig. M)
and turn clockwise to install (fig. N).
• Make sure the installation is correct. Remove the special key (c).
• Install the front cover (23).
Three blade knife removal is similar to installation, only the sequence
of actions is reversed.
PROTECTION OF THE EXTENSION CORD
Only extension cords intended for outdoor use may be used
with the trimmer. The surface area of the extension cord cross-
section must be equal to at least 1.5 mm
not exceed 60 m.
In order to enable safe mowing, guide the extension cord through
the cord grip (5) (fig. O) in the main handle, which eliminates
excessive pull on the extension cord during work.
WORK / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON - OFF
The voltage in the power supply network must be equal to the
value given in the data plate of the lawn trimmer.
The trimmer switch has an accidental startup protection.
In order to switch the trimmer on, push in the switch block button
(3) and press the switch button (2) (fig. P).
In order to switch the trimmer off, release the switch button (2).
After the motor is switched off, the cutting elements are still
rotating. Keep the power cord away from the cutting elements.
Never try to block the switch in the on position.
Never use the trimmer in rain and in wet conditions. If the
extension cord is defective, immediately disconnect its plug
from the power socket. Never work with a damaged extension
cord or power cord. All parts must be properly installed and
must meet the requirements for proper and safe work with the
tool. Any and all defective protective elements or parts must be
repaired or replaced immediately.
TIPS FOR SAFE USE
• Connect the trimmer to an appropriate extension cord.
• Fix the extension cord in the cord grip.
• When trimming long grass, perform work gradually, in layers.
• The trimmer must be kept away from hard items and crops.
• The trimmer may only be used to cut dry grass.

• When trimming edges, move the trimmer along the edge of the
lawn.
When using the trimmer as a lawn mower, adjust all four ground
wheels to the same cutting height (fig. R).
USE OF THE TRIMMER FOR TRIMMING LAWN EDGES
• Install the edge trimming wheel as described in the chapter
„INSTALLATION OF THE EDGE TRIMMING WHEEL."
• Turn the main handle for vertical trimming of lawn edges, as
described in the chapter "ROTARY MAIN HANDLE."
• With the trimmer supported on the edge trimming wheel, perform
trimming by moving the trimmer along the lawn edge, as shown
in fig. S.
Be very careful when using the trimmer for vertical trimming of
lawn edges. Stay away from the plane of rotation of the line so
as to avoid being hit by flying objects.
REMOVAL OF THE LINE
The trimmer is fitted with a system for automatic feeding of the line.
The line is fed automatically to maintain proper length during work.

If the line is torn or its part breaks inside the spool housing,
then the automatic feeding system becomes inactive and it is
necessary to remove the line manually.
MANUAL REMOVAL OF THE LINE
Disconnect the trimmer from the power source.
• Push in the slider (18), while pulling out both ends of the line (20)
by about 15 cm.
• Release the pressure applied to the slider (18) so as to block the
line spool (22) (fig. T).
• The excess line (20) will be cut by the metal blade (29) located in
the back guard (9) (fig. A).
If one of both ends of the line (20) are torn off in the spool housing
(19), the steps described in the chapter "INSTALLATION OF THE
LINE SPOOL."

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

Before
performing
adjustment, repair, or service, make sure to take the plug out
of the power socket.
Pay attention to the metal blade for cutting the line.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Regularly clean the ventilation slots in the motor housing.
• Regularly remove any remaining grass from the guard and the line
spool.
• Never clean the trimmer with water, aggressive liquids, or solvents.
• Clean the trimmer with a brush or a piece of soft cloth.
• Periodically check the condition of the carbon brushes of the
electrical motor.
• The trimmer must be kept in a dry place that is not accessible to
children.
• Use the recommended line spools and three-blade knives.
REPLACEMENT OF THE LINE SPOOL
The replacement of the line spool with a new one is performed in the
way described in the chapter „INSTALLATION OF THE LINE SPOOL."
REPLACEMENT OF THE CARBON BRUSHES
Worn (shorter than 5 mm), burnt, or cracked motor carbon
brushes must be replaced immediately. Both carbon brushes
must always be replaced at the same time. The brushes may be
replaced only be qualified persons and using genuine parts.
Any and all defects must be removed by service companies
authorized by the manufacturer.
