DETAILED REQUIREMENTS
(STRIMMERS) SUPPLIED FROM ELECTRICAL POWER NETWORK
WARNING: Safety regulations must be observed, when the grass
trimmer is operated. This instruction manual should be read
for your own and bystanders' safety, before the grass trimmer
is operated. This instruction manual should be kept for future
reference.
INSTRUCTIONS
• Become familiar with the control system and correct operation of
the equipment.
• Before operation is commenced, check the unwound power cord
for damage or wear.
• Do not use the grass trimmer when power cords are damaged or
worn.
• Before the grass trimmer is connected to the power source,
always make sure the supply voltage is compatible with the value
specified on the nameplate of the tool.
• The grass trimmer can be connected only to an electrical system
equipped with a differential current protection that will cut the
power off when earth leakage current exceeds 30 mA in less than
30 ms.
• Connect the grass trimmer only with appropriate power cord,
designed for outdoor use.
• Immediately disconnect the power, if the power cord is damaged
during operation. DO NOT TOUCH THE POWER CORD, BEFORE
THE POWER IS DISCONNECTED.
• WARNING: When the motor is switched off, the cutting string
keeps on turning.
• Keep the unwound power cord away from the cutting elements.
• Do not allow the grass trimmer to be operated by children and
people not familiarized with the instruction manual.
• Do not trim, when other people, children or household animals in
particular, are in the vicinity.
• The grass trimmer is not intended for use by people (including
children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or
by people without experience or knowledge of the equipment,
unless under supervision or in conformity with the instruction
manual of the equipment provided by people responsible by their
safety.
• Pay special attention so that children do not play with the
equipment.
• REMEMBER: The operator or user is responsible for accidents or
hazards occurring to other people or the environment.
PREPARATION
• When mowing always wear sturdy shoes and long trousers.
• Always use personal protection measures, such as protective
glasses and earmuff protectors.
• Carefully check the terrain, where you intend to work, remove all
objects that might get projected by rotating cutting string.
• Ensure the grass trimmer head is not damaged before each use.
• Hold the grass trimmer with both hands and keep the head axis
perpendicular to the ground.
• Put the extension cord for powering the grass trimmer in the tool
handle, so accidental disconnection is impossible.
