STABILISING ANKLE BRACE
WITH BOA
The "Boa ® CLOSURE SYSTEM" enables optimum, easy, quick and reliable
tightening. The "Boa
ensures uniform tightening over the whole ankle and is easy to adjust
with one hand.
Properties:
• Rigid side reinforcements to ensure ankle stability.
• Straps that optimise the action of the reinforcements.

guaranteed throughout the product's lifetime.
• Slim product that fits easily inside a shoe.
• Anatomical shape.
Indications:
• Mild, moderate or severe sprains of the lateral ligaments.
• Lower tibiofibular sprain.
• Resumption of sports.
Contraindication:
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Side effects:
No side effects are as yet known for correct use.
Fitting instructions:
• Slip the brace over the foot. (1)
• Tighten the brace using the Boa
wheel and turn clockwise until the desired level of support is obtained.
• Cross the straps over the top of the foot once, then cross them a second
time at the base of calf before fastening the Velcro ends to the sides of
the ankle brace. (3-4)
• To loosen the brace, pull the wheel to release the lace. (5)
• In the event of discomfort in the ankle bone area, the position of the
frame can be modified, by sliding it above or below the stitch located at
the bottom of the frame cover.
Precautions:
Follow the advice of the health professional who prescribed or supplied
the product. Wearing this product, as with any compression product, could,
in some persons, cause cutaneous reactions (redness, erythema). Should
this occur, it is preferable to readjust or remove the product and ask the
professional who delivered the product for advice.
Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the product for
another patient.
Washing instructions:
- See product label.
- Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products (products
containing chlorine).
- Remove the side reinforcements before washing the brace.
- Squeeze out excess water.
- Dry away from heat sources.
