PACKING GLAND
Make sure that the stop valve pos. C (fig.
3) is closed before dismounting the pack-
ing gland. Then proceed with activation of
the QDV valve to make sure that it is not
under pressure. Now handle and packing
gland may be removed (fig. 4).
REPLACEMENT OF O-RINGS AND
GASKET (FIG. 5)
Replace the O-rings and gasket of the
packing gland by original Danfoss O-rings
and gaskets or change the complete pack-
ing gland. If there are marks of blow on
the spindle it must be replaced.
LUBRICATION (FIG. 6)
To achieve the optimal tightness, the rail in
the middle of the packing gland must be
filled with original grease supplied by

DISASSEMBLAGE OF THE VALVE
(FIG. 8)
Obs.: Do not remove the top part, while
the valve is still under pressure. Loosen the
lock screw pos. A before unscrewing the
top part. In order to prevent the spindle
from loosing mesh with the thread of the
top part, do not dismount the handle.
Check that the gasket pos. B is undam-
aged.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CONE (FIG. 9)
Unscrew the screw pos. D by means of an
Allen key NV 2 (part of Danfoss' set of gas-
kets). Remove the balls pos. E – in total 10
balls. Remove used cone. Place new cone
on the spindle, and read the balls. Screw
on the screw pos. D and be sure that it is
flush with the surface of the cone.

ASSEMBLY (FIG. 8)
Remove dirt, if any from housing before
the valve is assembled. Check that the
cone has been screwed back towards the
top part before the top part is screwed
back into the housing. Tighten the lock
screw pos. A.
TIGHTENING
Tighten the top part according to fig. 2d
overleaf.
In cases of doubt please contact distri-
butor or factory.

PAKFORSKRUNING
Før pakforskruningen afmonteres skal afs-
pærringsventilen pos. C (fig. 3) være luk-
ket. Derefter aktiveres QDV ventilen for at
sikre at denne er trykløs. Håndtag og pak-
forskruning kan nu afmonteres (fig. 4).
