Joint selection
In the case of a unilateral orthosis construction with the presence of
flexion contractures in the knee or hip larger than 10°, with pronounced
torsion or valgus/varus instability or in case of high physical activity, the
biggerr joint size (# 814130-20) must be used! The joint is not to be used in
orthoses with ischial tuber support. In case of valgus/varus defects larger
than 10°, the orthosis must be bilaterally constructed.
