03. INSTRUCTIONS FOR VACUUM SEALING.
1. Connect the packaging machine to the electrical power supply.
2. Press the On/Off button to turn on the packaging machine (10). The machine is ready to use in the
mode and with the sealing time selected during the last use.
CONFIGURATION OF THE SEALING TIME
REMEMBER: the longer the time selected, the higher the temperature the bar Will reach.
The sealing time can be altered by carrying out the following steps:
• Press the function selection button "SET" (11) twice, until the display corresponding to "SEAL TIME"
flashes, and the current sealing time will be shown.
• Press the adjustment buttons "+/-" to select the desired sealing time. Each unit represents one
second, and the sealing time may be set between 3 and 9 seconds.
Note: the sealing time must be altered based on the weight and characteristics of the bag. For ELMA
brand bags, it is recommended to set the sealing time to 5 seconds.
After having set the sealing bar temperature, it is recommended to carry out some checks on sealing
to ensure execution before proceeding to package foods.
