■
Run perimeter test and adjust if required.
LAWN LAYOUT E
■
Lawn layout E has an irregularly shaped lawn
layout, with a narrow passage in between.
■
The lawn has obstacles but has an open perimeter
(no obstacles around edges).
■
Ensure at least 1 m of wire extends at 90° to the
front of the charging station.
■
Parallel wires to and from each obstacle should
have a gap of less than 5 cm between each wire.
■
The gap between an obstacle and the perimeter
should be 90 cm minimum.
■
The gap between each obstacle should be 90 cm
minimum.
■
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
■
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the house.
■
Lay the wire 5 cm away from open perimeter, or any
level paving stones around the house.
■
Run perimeter test and adjust if required.
LAWN LAYOUT F
■
Lawn layout F has split lawns, with a narrow
passage in between.
■
Both lawns are free from obstacles.
■
The narrow passage should have a width of 90 cm
minimum.
■
Ensure at least 1 m of wire extends at 90° to the
front of the charging station.
■
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
■
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the perimeter edge.
■
Run perimeter test and adjust if required.
LAWN LAYOUT G
■
Lawn layout G has split lawns (Lawn A and Lawn
B).
■
The lawns are separate, with an obstacle in
between but with parallel wires connecting Lawn
A to Lawn B. The parallel wires should be laid no
more than 5 cm apart.
■
Ensure at least 1 m of wire extends at 90° to the
front of the charging station.
■
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the obstacles.
■
Lay the wire 45 cm away from the perimeter edge.
■
The parallel wires should be laid in a safe location
and free from disturbance.
■
The docking station is placed in Lawn A. To cut
Lawn B, the robotic lawn mower is carried from
Lawn A to B. In Lawn B, run the robotic lawn mower
in Manual Mode for the required time to complete
18
the task. Once Lawn B is complete, the robotic
lawn mower is carried back to Lawn A. In Lawn A,
place the robotic lawn mower in dock to recharge.
If desired, to continue with Lawn A, set the robotic
lawn mower back to Schedule Mode.
■
Run perimeter test and adjust if required.
LAWN LAYOUT H
■
Lawn layout H has split lawns (Lawn A and Lawn B).
■
The lawns are separate, with a house in between
and no path for the wires to connect Lawn A and
Lawn B.
■
The robotic lawn mower is unable to drive
autonomously between the lawns and the boundary
wire cannot be extended to both lawns using same
loop.
■
To mow each garden, the charging station should
be moved, or a second charging station should
be purchased and a new wire loop needs to be
installed.
■
Ensure at least 1 m of wire extends at 90° to the
front of the charging station.
■
Run perimeter test and adjust if required.
