1 – Cabinet description
The Sweet 2 cabinets are manufactured in modules having available internal length of 937,5 mm (Model 100), 1875 mm
(Model 200), 2812,5 mm (Model 300),(each with internal length mm 937,5), with side ends of 40 mm thickness. External
and internal 45° refrigerated corners are available as well, through which different compositions can be realised.
Two different versions are available for all the modules:
-
without uprights and with front glasses reclining downwards (SWEET 2 ST)
-
with back uprights and with front glasses reclining upwards (SWEET 2 LX).
The front glass can be opened in all corner versions of model Sweet 2. By model Sweet 2 LX in corner version, the front
glasses can be opened in the open corner 45° and they are fixed by closed corner 45°.
The general characteristics and overall dimensions are shown at Page 1, Fig. 1 and 2.
The display counters can be multiplexed to realise line-ups of cabinets having the requested length and shape. The
cabinets can be provided with Internal Condensing Unit (G.I.) or External Condensing Unit (G.E.), and a wide range of
accessories is available to complete the cabinets.
2 - Transportation
The cabinet is provided with wooden slides (or wooden crates packaging on request) which allow the handling through
fork-lifts. The handling has to be performed exclusively by authorised technicians.
The weights of the cabinets and their lifting points are shown at Page 1, Fig. 3.
3 – Receipt and storage
As soon as the cabinet has been received, verify the packaging conditions and make sure that no damages are present.
If the packaging is damaged, the goods conditions have to be verified in presence of the shipping agent.
The cabinets must be placed in a weatherproof environment, the storage temperature must be in the range –25°C /
+55°C. The air humidity must be in the range 30% / 95%.
Disconnect the cabinet from the fastening brackets and remove the padding around it. Remove the wooden runner by
unscrewing the holders that fix it at the cabinet, as per FIG. 4A at page 2. Position the cabinet exactly where you plan to
install it. Move the cabinet carefully, never pull it by the end walls!
The unpacking activities must be carried out exclusively by authorised technicians and have to be performed with
particular care, because glasses and other fragile parts are present.
Warning: In case the goods have been received damaged, immediate feedback has to be given to the manufacturer.
Delays in such communication will release Oscartielle from any responsibility.
Any damage occurred during the transportation and/or storage shall not be debited to Oscartielle.
4 – Installation and environmental conditions
To ensure the correct operation, The cabinet has to be positioned with perfect levelling, by screwing or unscrewing its feet
(see Page 2, Fig.4B).
It is strongly forbidden to locate the cabinets in rooms where explosive gaseous substances are stored.
The use of the cabinet in the open air, or in the rain, is considered improper use (see Page 2, Fig. 5).
The performance of the cabinet refers (according to the international standard EN ISO 23953-1/2) to environmental
climatic class 3 which consists of a room temperature of 25°C with relative humidity of 60%
An adequate front and back clearance is needed, to allow the maintenance operations and the cooling of the condenser
(see Page 2 Fig.6);
Usual performances of the cabinets could not be granted whenever ambient conditions are different from the standard or
cabinets are subject to air flows above 0,2m/sec or heating sources. In such cases lower performances of the cabinet
have to be accepted.
To maintain standard performances of the cabinet, information about the real environment characteristics should be
provided before the project is defined, in order to re-consider the technical parameters and materials and to be able to
update the installer with the refrigerating powers actually required.
In case a rear foot-board is installed, we recommend to have a removable part to allow maintenance of electric board
5 – Cabinet assembly
The cabinet assembling must be executed exclusively by authorised technicians.
Instructions for the assembling Sweet 2 STD cabinet
Insert side glasses in their housing in the side panels, verify correct position then fix them by plastic glass stoppers
provided with the installation kit. (see Page 4, Fig.10)
Afterwards, apply shelves supports on side glasses (Page 4, Fig 11). In version L300 assemble the shelves to the cabinet
using existing holes (Page 4, Fig 12), fix cabled lighting canopy by knobbed screws, (Page 4, Fig. 13) insert the guiding
slit and install glass shelves resting them on shelves supports and eventual brackets previously assembled (Page 4,
Fig.14).
Insert the curved glass in the turning frame (FIG. 15 page 4).
Finally, apply the lower plinth and the decoration trim, as per Fig. 16A-16B at page 5.
