Safety Instructions
All safety instructions are to be
read thoroughly before using the
CS LD 1.0 and they must be ob-
served.
•
Avoid operating the CS LD 1.0
in direct sunlight and areas of
excessive dust, high humidity,
high temperature, large tem-
perature fluctuations or mag-
netic fields, which may cause
malfunctions and/or inaccurate
readings.
•
Do not attempt to repair the
CS LD 1.0
•
The CS LD 1.0 display may only
be cleaned with a soft cloth
and neutral cleaning agents.
•
Do not use any abrasive
cleaning agent or rough
cleaning cloths.
•
The CS LD 1.0 operates on a
lithium-ion type battery. For
long battery life and safe opera-
tion, observe all warnings.
•
For prolonged and safe opera-
tion, always ensure to charge
the CS LD 1.0 battery between
ambient temperatures of 0 °C
and 45 °C.
•
Disconnect the charger from
the power source when not in
use or charge is complete.
•
Do not try to access the batte-
ry, contact Bosch customer ser-
vice for battery replacement.

Do not subject the CS LD 1.0
to impact. Do not deform, pier-
ce, or damage the battery.
Do not touch a battery that
appears to be leaking or da-
maged. If battery fluid gets
in your eyes, flush with fresh
water, do not rub eyes, and
seek medical attention.
Do not keep the CS LD 1.0 unused
for extended periods to avoid da-
mage to the battery. The correct
storage environment is critical to
battery life.
•
The battery should have a 40 %
to 50 % charge during prolon-
ged storage (a month or more).
•
The battery should be stored in
an environment with less than
75 % RH.

Do not disassemble or
attempt to repair the
battery or protective
circuit.
Do not put the
CS LD 1.0 near a fire or
hot surfaces or in a hot
vehicle or under direct
sunlight as there is
chance of battery over-
heating and explosion.
Do not expose the
battery to temperatures
above 60 °C (140 °F).
