1.1 SAFETY PRECAUTION

1.1.1 Summary for safety operation

This manual does not cover all possible contingencies, variations and details that may arise during the installation,
operation, or maintenance of this device. If the users have any questions about a specific installation, they should
contact their local WEG sales office. For application information, contact the nearest WEG sales office.
The information contained in this document is general in its nature and not for specific applications. It does not
exempt the user from the responsibility of using correct practices in the application, installation, operation and
maintenance of the purchased device. WEG reserves the right to make changes to the specifications shown
herein or to make improvements at any time without previous notice or liabilities. In the event of conflict between
the general information contained in this document and the contents of drawings or supplementary material or
both, the latter shall prevail.

1.1.2 Qualified person

For the purposes of this manual and product labels, a qualified person with proper knowledge of the installation,
construction, operation or maintenance of the equipment and the risks involved. In addition, this person has the
following qualifications:
1. Be trained and authorized to energize, de-energize, clean, ground and connect circuits and equipment in
accordance with the established safety practices.
2. Be trained in the proper care and use of protective equipment such as rubber gloves, hard hat, safety glasses
or face shields, electrical arc protection clothing, etc., in accordance with the safety practices.
3. Be trained in first aid. These instructions do not cover all details or variations of the device, nor provide all
possible contingencies to be met regarding installation, operation or maintenance. If specific problems arise
that are not sufficiently covered for the buyer's purposes or if additional information is required, the subject
should be referred to your local WEG sales office. The contents of this instruction manual shall not incorporate
or modify any previous or existing contract, commitment or relation.
