8.3.2 Isolation barrier
The isolation barrier can be mounted after the installation of the ABW Compact for safety. (Optional)
1) Insert the isolation barrier between the poles on the rear of the ABW Compact. (1
8.4 CONNECTING THE BUSBARS
8.4.1 Connecting the cables
Make sure there are no excessive mechanical forces applied to the circuit breaker back terminals. The extension
terminal is fixed according to B, C and the cable is fastened to the frame according to E.
8.4.2 Connecting the busbars
For busbar connection, connect the access parts applying the specified torque, and install the bracket in parallel so
as not to force circuit breaker terminal. For the prevention of occupational or minor accidents, keep the maximum
safe distance A (the maximum safe distance of the ABW Compact is 250 mm) from the access area to withstand
electrical stress during short-circuit failures. (Bracket strength: insulator base, bending load 720 kg or more, tensile
strength 3000 kg or more).
