11.2.3 Instantaneous (I)
The function to interrupt the fault current above the setpoint with the shortest possible time to protect the circuit
against short circuit.
1. Default current setting selector: li
- Adjustable range: (2 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 - 12 - 15 - Off)×ln.
2. The relay operates based on the largest load current between the R/S/T phases.
3. Total interruption time is less than 50 ms.
11.2.4 Ground fault (G)
Function to interrupt the ground fault current above the setpoint after the time delay protecting the ground fault circuit.
1. Default current setting selector: lg
- Adjustable range: (0,2 - 0,3 - 0,4 - 0,5 - 0,6 - 0,7 - 0,8 - 1,0 - Off)×In.
2. Time delay setting selector: tg
- Inverse time (l2t On): 0,1 - 0,2 - 0,3 - 0,4s;
- Defined time (I2t Off): 0,05 - 0,1 - 0,2 - 0,3 - 0,4s.
3. The ground fault current is the vector sum of the phase currents. Therefore, 3-pole products can operate with
phase unbalance, even in a ground fault situation. (Phases R+S+T).
4. When the ZSI function is set, the protection operation will occur instantaneously with no input from the
downstream devices. It is advisable to disable the ZSI function on the last downstream device.
5. The ground fault functions are basically provided in products equipped with a trip relay via its internal CT, which
is built into each phase. (But they cannot be used with the earth leakage protection function at the same time).
