12.1 Cleaning of diaphragm monitoring system

WARNING!
EN
Residual media at the dismounted instrument can result in a risk to persons,
the environment and equipment.
Take sufficient precautionary measures.
The exterior should only be cleaned when the instrument is closed and sealed. This
applies to the case head cover and all openings, e.g. the cable gland.
Use a cloth moistened with soapy water or isopropanol.
Electrical connections must not come into contact with moisture.
Wash or clean the dismounted instrument before returning it, in order to protect
persons and the environment from exposure to residual media.

12.2 Cleaning of diaphragm seal

With contaminated, viscous or crystallising media, it may be necessary to clean the
diaphragm from time to time. Only ever remove deposits from the diaphragm with a soft
brush and suitable solvent.
CAUTION!
Before cleaning, correctly disconnect the instrument from the pressure
supply, switch it off and disconnect it from the mains, if needed.
Do not use sharp objects or aggressive detergents to clean in order to avoid
damage to the sensitive and extremely thin diaphragm.
Clean the instrument with a moist cloth.
Electrical connections, if available, must not come into contact with
moisture.
Wash or clean the dismounted instrument before returning it, in order to
protect personnel and the environment from exposure to residual media.
Residual media in dismounted instruments can result in a risk to persons,
the environment and equipment. Sufficient precautionary measures must be
taken.
