Initial Operation
DANGER: Do not look into the laser beam!!
Switching the Tool On
The battery display appears. The tool is in its base
mode and ready to take the first measurement.
Press the
button again to initiate a measurement.
The tool automatically switches off 6 minutes
after the last button actuation.
Deleting
Upon actuation, the shown value is deleted. Within
the "Area" and "Volume" measuring function, the
individual distances can be deleted and then meas-
ured again afterwards.
Front or rear stop/rest
After switching on, the zero point for all measure-
ments is at the rear edge of the measuring tool.
– Press button 1x briefly (short beep):
The zero point for all measurements is the
fronte dge of the tool
– Press button 2x briefly (short beep):
The zero point for all measurements is the
centre of the tripod mount.
– Press button 3x long (long beep):
The zero point is the rear edge of the tool
again.
Switching the Tool Off
– Press and hold the button to switch the tool off.
Measuring Procedure

other persons or animals!
Length Measurement
Switch on the laser with the
laser point onto the target and actuate a length measu-
rement by once more briefly pressing the
ton. The measured length is indicated in the display.
NOTE: Measurement errors can occur on the follo-
wing surfaces: Transparent liquids, glass, Styro-
foam, semipermeable surfaces, glossy surfaces.
Measurements on dark and matt surfaces lead to
increased measuring periods.
Tracking
Tracking is suitable for determining the diagonal within
a space
(greatest determined length) or the
right-angled length onto a wall
length). It is also suitable for marking out distances

measurement by once more pressing the
ton for a longer period. During the measurement, the
laser point must be moved over the target.
A fast beeping tone sounds during the measuring.
End the measurement by pressing the
ton. The greatest, the shortest and the last measured
distance are indicated in the display.
Any measure of distance, area or volume can be
stored temporarily and recalled again:
Carry out a distance measurement.
Press and hold the button
that the measurement is stored.
Press the
culations.
Press button twice to recall the last 20 determined
measured values in reverse order.
Use the

Viewfinder
The tool is equipped with a viewfinder, which
directly indicates the measuring point in the display.
The crosshair 12 indicates the position, even when
the laser is not visible.
Press the

wfinder is switched off.
The brightness of the camera can be adapted in
pushbutton. Align the
