Storage/transport
Always store and transport the storage cylinder in its original
packaging, which must not be removed until the cylinder is
installed in its final location.
The permitted ambient temperature for transportation and
storage is -20 to +50 °C.
Observe tilt height when setting up and trans-
porting the storage cylinder:
Combination storage cylinder
TTE 600 FA 1:
TTE 750 FA 1:
TTE 1000 FA 1:
(in addition to trolley or lifting truck).
Tip:
Loop ropes or straps around the cylinder and attach them to
its connectors and to the trolley.
Remove the packaging and the transport
fixing brackets
Do not open the packaging with a sharp object.
Remove the 3 transit screws (M8) holding the storage cylin-
der down from the pallet underside.
Installing the adjustable feet
Attach the three adjustable feet (M12 – attached to the cylin-
der tube nipple in a polythene bag).
• Position the storage cylinder in its final location.
• Align the storage cylinder by adjusting the feet until it is
completely perpendicular.
• Tighten the locking nuts on the adjustable feet.

Location/set-up

Warning! Frost damage can pose a risk to
products and the environment. Only install
the cylinder in frost-free rooms.
The supporting surface must be flat and load-bearing.
Do not exceed the maximum load for the location.

Ensure there is sufficient space for instal-
lation. Choose an installation location with
sufficient clearance from the wall.
To minimise heat losses, select a location as
close as possible to the heat source.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard, wood and labelled
plastic. Dispose of the packaging in accordance with the
relevant laws and with technical regulations. Observe the
environmental requirements with regard to recycling, re-use
and disposal of consumables and components in accordance
with official regulations.
Set-up
The storage cylinder must be upright and must not wobble.
Position the storage cylinder with the solar side at the front to
ensure that the solar station and the solar control unit can be
operated.
