4. SETUP

4.1 Install batteries

1. Slide open cover on rear of tester and install 3 x AA Alkaline Batteries (not included)
2. Replace cover and press and hold power button for 2 secs to turn on

4.2 Zero calibration

This procedure is only required when the test probes have been changed or if there is an issue with accuracy of the results.
1. Ensure tester is switched OFF
2. Turn Selector Dial to Resistance Mode (Ω position)
3. Switch ON the tester and press key once to enter calibration mode
4. Press button to enter ZERO calibration mode and countdown timer will start
8 second countdown timer
5. Short the probes together and press button to complete calibration
Note:
During zero calibration, do not touch the probes with your hand or it may cause an error. If an error is displayed, repeat the zero calibration procedure again.
5. OPERATION
First switch on the tester by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds
5.1 Direct Current Measurement
In this mode current measurements can be taken directly at the fusebox without removing any fuses or wires.
1. Turn Selector Dial to Current Mode (A position)
2. Select DIRECT then press button to continue
3. Select type of fuse to be tested using keys then press button
4. Select rating of fuse using keys then press button
