DANGER!
Danger of fatal injury due to negligence!
This can result in extremely serious inju-
ries!
The purpose of the chain brake is to re-
duce or avoid injury in the event of pos-
sible kickback.
Pay attention to safety and work with a
high level of concentration when using
the chain saw.
Saw chain oil
Each time before starting work, check
the oil level and replenish saw chain oil
if necessary.
The saw chain and the chain bar are continuously
supplied with oil during operation by means of an
automatic oiler system. The saw chain oil protects
against corrosion and premature wear.
To lubricate the saw chain and the chain bar,
only use environmentally friendly, biodegradable,
high-quality saw chain oil. This oil must be trans-
ported and stored in approved and appropriately
labelled containers.
There must always be sufficient saw chain oil in
the tank (11/1), (12/1) to lubricate the saw chain
sufficiently. The oil level can be checked in the
viewing aperture. The level must not be below the
"MIN" marking (11/3), (12/3) or above the "MAX"
marking (11/2), (12/2).
CAUTION!
Machine damage by using used oil!
Using used oil can lead to machine da-
mage, and is harmful to the environment!
CAUTION!
Machine damage due to gumming of the
saw chain oil!
Gumming of the saw chain oil can lead to
damage to oil-channelling components
or the oil pump!
Remove the saw chain oil from the ma-
chine before each extended period of
storage.
