3 Operating Instructions
1.
Check the supplemental set for completeness, as
well as visible damages such as signs of wear,
deformation, breakages, cracks, and tears prior to
each use. Check threads for damage. Check the
spring cotter for functionality. Do not use the
supplemental set when defects are noted and
discard it immediately.
2.
Carry out the necessary preparation work for the
use of the supplemental set in accordance with the
workshop manuals.
3.
Attach the supplemental set to the vehicle as
described in the workshop manuals.
4.
Use screws of the prescribed quality and
dimension.
5.
Tighten the screw connections with the prescribed
torque.
Observe the left and right design when mounting the
counter bearings.
The counter bearings are labeled with L for left and R
for right.

WARNING
Risk of the load swiveling or falling!
Incorrect attachment of the supplemental set may
result in a swiveling or falling load. This could result in
serious injuries and severe damage to materials.
Attach the supplemental set to the vehicle exactly as
described in the workshop manuals.
Use only the adapter parts with screws of the
prescribed quality and dimension and screw them
with the prescribed torque in accordance with the
workshop manuals.
Observe the position and the alignment of the
counter bearings and the traverse.
6.
Carry out further work as described in the
workshop manuals.
CAUTION
Risk of injury through parts of the supplemental set.
When the supplemental set is attached to the vehicle,
persons can bump into it and hurt themselves.
Exercise particular caution when working on the
vehicle.
7.
Ensure that all parts of the special tool have been
removed after completing the repair work.
