ON THE BASIS OF TABLE 7, THE NEW ADJUSTMENT SETTING WILL BE DEFINED BY THE FOLLOWING CALCULATION:
THE INPUT IS INHIBITED IF THE THERMOSTAT IS OPERATING IN ANTI-FREEZE MODE OR EMERGENCY MODE DUE TO THE
AMBIENT PROBE.
N.B. THE SEASON CHANGEOVER (AIR SIDE) IS INHIBITED AS LONG AS THE SP INPUT IS CLOSED, TO PREVENT ANY INCORRECT
STATUS CHANGES CAUSED BY THE VARIATION IN THE SETPOINT.
OPERATION OF ADDITIONAL LOADS
ELECTRIC HEATER (MANAGED AS INTEGRATION)
The standard operation of the electric heater accessory uses an ON-OFF command. In order to command this type of accessory, the dip
switches must be suitably configured (dip 5 and dip 6 OFF - Dip Switch SW1 settings table) and the speed selector must be on "Aux".
The electric heater intervenes if there is a thermostat operation request and the water temperature is sufficiently low. In particular,
this function shows the enabling thresholds in relation to the operating mode defined - reduced band or normal band (dip 4). It
should be noted that, when the thermostat is enabled, the electric heater is OFF and it will only be activated if the water temperature
is below the enabling threshold (35°C with normal band, 31°C with reduced band).
The activation of the electric heater involves ventilation management on the basis of the proportional error (as for Automatic mode,
described in the figure).
If the fan coil is working with continuous ventilation, the electric heater will be switched off when the set value is reached, whereas
ventilation will continue at speed V1 after the post-ventilation phase (described below).
The operation of the electric heater involves pre-ventilation and post-ventilation phases corresponding to its activation and
deactivation.
Note that the pre-ventilation phase (20" at V1) is always activated at the same time as the activation of the electric heater, whereas
post-ventilation always starts up after the deactivation of the heater (60" at V1).
ELECTRIC HEATER (MANAGED AS THE SOLE HEATING SOURCE)
In the case of fan coils that provide cooling via the coil and heating via the heater, the thermostat must be configured as shown below:
Indicate the presence of the shut-off valve (2/3-way): dip 1 ON
Indicate the presence of the water probe downstream: dip 2 OFF
Set 2T+2F control: dip 5 and dip 6 ON
The heater can always be activated, regardless of the position of the thermostat operating mode selector (AUTO-V1-V2-V3-AUX).
The fan coils that require this configuration impose an air side changeover and Maximum value check only.
In this operating mode, as with integration mode, the heater is activated on the basis of pre-ventilation and post-ventilation logics to
prevent the intervention of the protection thermostats.
ELECTRIC HEATER (MANAGED AS INTEGRATION/REPLACEMENT)
In the case of fan coils requiring the use of the electric heater in combined replacement/integration mode, configure the thermostat as
shown below:
Indicate the presence of the shut-off valve (2/3-way): dip 1 ON
Indicate the presence of the water probe downstream: dip 2 ON
Set 2T+2F control: dip 5 and dip 6 ON
Attention: even if the water probe is upstream of the valve, the season changeover is based on the air temperature.
